Furnishing the hotel has been an absolute
labour of love. It is not a case of simply going to a favourite shop
and ordering several of the same item. We have spent many, many
hours visiting the weekly antiques markets, browsing specialist
shops and peeking round the back of the carpenter's workshop. For

Hotel Facilities
The hotel offers a wide range of facilities including a large
restaurant, sizable reception area with breakfast room, guest lounge
and bar (where there is an open fire for the cooler winter
evenings). There is a sala degustazione (wine tasting room), which
has a regular temperature all year round and where we offer
samplings of the famous Piemontese wines and a small gym where you can work of the excesses. We also offer a complimentary broadband wi-fi service
throughout the hotel and grounds.
Outside, there are large private car park, landscaped gardens, roof terrace and lots of
independent sitting areas, plus our swimming pool which allows
guests to look the length of the valley towards the mountains,
whilst keeping cool.
The area is also well known for horse riding, cycling and walking
and, within a reasonable distance there are golf, shooting and
fishing.
Throughout the hotel, including all of the guest rooms, there is central
heating and air conditioning, with an in-room control so that you can adjust the temperature to your personal preference.
There are also large numbers of books, DVD's and CD's that guests can borrow to simply relax.
Guest Rooms The accommodation at La Villa has been designed to offer a wide
range of accommodation to suit all requirements - from single rooms
to large suites - for a single visitor or for families or groups.
It has also been designed to be extremely flexible, so that
larger parties or families can take over a complete area or wing of
the hotel, with friends, colleagues, children, or family accommodated in neighbouring rooms, with private access to the group
of rooms.
There is also a mix of styles throughout the hotel, from the
exotic Moroccan room to the refined French Quarter and the rustic
Italian style rooms with their lustrous woods and wrought iron
furnishings.
Many of the rooms have private balconies or terraces where guests
can relax, or you can take advantage of the flat roof or any of the many other seating areas on the grounds.
All of the rooms have individual central heating and air
conditioning, and the suites have flat screen TV's, with satellite TV, DVD and CD player. The same facilities are available in the other rooms, on request.
All of the rooms are equipped with telephone, internet point and other amenities. Wi-fi access is offered free of charge. In every room, there is a minibar plus tea and coffee making facilities.
Each room also has a hairdrier, complimentary toiletries and handmade olive oil soap, plus pool towels.
Suites
There are four suites, and one Junior Suite, each offered with a large
double bedroom (the Honeymoon Suite has a four poster bed),
ensuite bathroom and separate lounge. Three of the suites also have king size
sofa beds in the lounge, giving accommodation for up to 4 people.
The Junior Suite can only accommodate 2 guests.

The Penthouse
The Penthouse is a very large double bedroom and large bathroom with fabulous views down the valley.
Executive Double Rooms
The five executive double bedrooms (one with four poster bed) are all very roomy, light and airy and have en suite bathrooms.
Double Room
There is one double bedroom, which is slightly smaller than the
executive doubles, but with superb views towards the east and the
vine-laden hills. This room can be set up as a twin or double. It also has an en suite shower room.
Single Rooms
The two single rooms are also spacious with a double bed and an en suite shower
room.

The rates are per room, per night and include breakfast and local
taxes:

Children
La Villa only accepts children over the age of 8.
Additional Costs
There is an additional charge of €10 per head for third and
fourth guests in a suite over 12 years of age.
We do allow small dogs (under knee height) but only in the ground floor rooms. There is a
€25 per dog, per stay, charge.
Deposits
There is a 20% non-refundable deposit (of the whole value of the
booking) required at the time of booking. No further charges are
made until you arrive.
Cancellation Charges
In the event that you need to cancel your booking, the following
charges apply:
* Up to 30 days before the scheduled arrival - forfeit of deposit
* 7 - 30 days before the scheduled arrival - 50% of the value of
the booking
* 1 - 7 days before the scheduled arrival and 'no show' - 100% of
the value of the booking
