Rooms There are fourteen rooms at La Villa and each one is unique. By changing as little of the old structure as possible, the rooms - six suites, six doubles and two singles – have retained their original features and sense of history whilst still offering all the modern comforts demanded by our sophisticated lifestyles. Some have claw foot baths, others walk-in showers. Some are with terraces or private balconies. Yet every one is light, spacious and with its own special charm. Inspired by what was uncovered during the restoration, we created each room as somewhere we would love to stay, combining local antiques with hand-crafted furniture and market 'finds'. Use of peaceful colours, gentle fabrics and natural materials together give each room a sense of quiet elegance, luxury and calm. Bathrooms are designed to complement the rooms, and there is the same easy blend of old and new, as antique wash stands sit alongside big rain showers. You will find some with romantic bath tubs placed to take advantage of the views; others with open, walk-in showers large enough for two. From the suites to the single rooms, everywhere are little touches that make all the difference to your stay – hand made mattresses and the finest linens for a good night’s sleep. Soft, thick towels and artisan crafted soaps and shampoos for bathtime pampering and large fluffy bathrobes and slippers for times when you feel like just lounging around. Accommodation in the hotel is very flexible, and works well not just for individuals and couples, but also families, small groups, and parties of up to 30 people. Have a corridor or wing of the hotel to yourselves; share a private terrace; book the whole hotel for your special occasion .... All rooms are non-smoking.
